THE GLENLIVET NADURRA (NON-CHILL FILTERED) AGED 16 YEARS

前回の出張でロンドン経由だったので、スコッチウィスキーを入手。 定員曰く、あまり出回ってないし美味しいとのことで The GLENLIVET NADURRAを買ってみた。 定員は、かなりマニアックに色々教えてくれたが、ついていけなかった。

甘さもあり、抜けるような香りと、すっきりとした後味、美味しいすぎ。

After 16 years in American oak, the Nadurra is bottled at 48% alcohol by volume to deliver a rich, rewarding taste. By omitting modern chill filtering, we preserve intact the full flavour of the malt, uniquely capturing the original character of George Smith's Distillery: The pure expression of a great tradition. Since this is whisky in its most natural state - with nothing taken away - you may detect a single haze when additing water or ice.

Tasting notes. Colour: Pale gold (A gentle haze may appear with water) The nose: Soft rich, floral. Notes of sweet hazelnuts and praline, enhanced with a dray citrus oakiness The Taste: Smooth, sweet vanilla and rose petal, balanced by a light spiciness that develops into a dry, oaky finish of considerable length and complexity.
