MIP6 Working Group 終了

IETFのMIP6ワーキンググループが役目を終えてクローズされ、新たにMEXT に移行した。
メールを漁ってみたら少なくとも2001か2002年ぐらいから参加してたみたい。
5年以上とは感慨深い！

2003年頃はmobilityはデプロイしねーと某プロジェクトでは いじめられてたな
今はホームエージェントとか普通に製品のスペックシートに出てきてる
そろそろ普及に向かってるのか（期待込）
普及した日には、ざまー見ろと叫びたい

ちなみに、この数年間はMIP6 MLの管理してた
実はSPAMとかトラブルさばいてた。この数年はさぼりまくりだったが。
HA信頼性のスペックを、MIP6でRFCにできなかったのが残念。。。

The Mobility for IPv6 WG (mip6) in the Internet Area has concluded.
The IESG contact persons are Jari Arkko and Mark Townsley.
The mailing list will remain active.
"The work continues in the new MEXT WG, combining the
Mobile IPv6 related efforts from the MIP6, NEMO, and
MONAMI6 WGs.

The new WG has its own mailing list. The MIP6, NEMO,
and MONAMI6 mailing lists will continue to exist and
the archives will be kept available. However, all discussion
should be moved to mext@ietf.org instead."
